Visalia is pretty old. How old is she? When kids were in school there was no history class. *rim shot*
Back to the fun fact of the day. Visalia is older than Canada. Yes, Canada. The whole thing. Canada wasn't established until July 1st, 1867 and Visalia was in 1852. What do you think of that, eh? So, Happy Birthday, Canada!

Visalia SpecTRACKular is a special event taking place on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Learning, participation and physical exercise are the main elements of this event which is NEW to Visalia!

With various races like sprints and long distance runs, the standing long jump and softball throw, boys and girls ages four to 14 years of age are welcome to compete.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Enjoy the corresponding health and wellness fair, designed specially for youth. With entertainment, music, healthy cooking demonstrations and vendors, this is one day you don't want to miss!
