This Is Visalia has one goal and that is to highlight what it means to live in the Central Valley. There is no glamor and glitz in our home town. It a small town with small town values. Sometimes that awareness gets in the way of making Visalia better. Because if you are a small town you want to be a big town. That's then you lose so much of what made Visalia the Jewel of the Valley. A place people want to raise their children. You get Big City troubles when you grow. That's true if we focus only on prosperity for ourselves but it doesn't have to be true. We can keep those small town values if we keep caring and loving our neighbor. Don't be anonymous. Don't be hard hearted. Don't stop caring for those that have needs.
