John Mark McMillan concert an Oval Park Success

Congratulations to Visalia Rescue Mission and The Oval Park on a very successful concert in the park last night. It drew in a lot of people and from the line of car circling the park, a lot of curiosity. Excited to hear what is happening next at The Oval!

Autumn is Coming

The Oval Park is hosting an event on Facebook. A good-bye to summer and welcoming of Autumn picnic gathering Tuesday, September 23 at 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Grab dinner from one of the surrounding restaurants on the loop, plop down a chair or blanket and enjoy the 86º evening with old and new friends alike.

B.Y.O.B.F.C.B.E. (Bring your own beverage, food, chair, blanket, etc). Frisbees, soccer balls, and other family-style activities/items are encouraged. Park closes at 8:00pm.

A Night of Worship with John Mark McMillan! Thursday, Oct. 23 at 6pm. This will be a free show at the Lincoln Oval Park.

Visalia's First Singer/Songwriter Competition!

Visalia's First Singer/Songwriter Competition! A feature of — “ History in the Making: Visalia’s 150 th Anniversary” The Visalia Rescue Mission at Oval Park and the Arts Consortium announce the Oval Park Compilation , a celebration of local musicians and songwriters for the 150th anniversary of Visalia’s official incorporation . The compilation will feature ten original songs written and performed exclusively by Visalia residents.
